Super and Electoral Promises
It is the last week of the Federal Election and both parties have introduced promises to win the support of undecided voters. Their attention has turned to homeownership and Superannuation.
It’s not my role to support either party and hence I won’t discuss their policies– I am sure you have all heard the promises in the media and the likely effect on voters and the economy.
What I can tell you is that if your vote comes down to the superannuation policies promoted by either party, the best person to advise you on the likely effect on your superannuation is your Financial Adviser. They are getting daily updates on the likely effects for their clients, and many will be passing this information on to their clients.
If you can’t afford the services of a Financial Adviser or simply prefer to be a “Do It Yourself” investor, then Financial Mappers is the software that can calculate the effect on your superannuation. You can consider the effects of withdrawing or adding to your Superannuation.
Financial Mappers will generate a report showing new results. You can even make two plans, one with changes and one without. From here you can generate the report “Compare Two Plans”
